The Orange Country chapter of the Illumination Engineering Society of North America has just launched a new site, http://iesorange.com to promote its educational programs and its annual award show, the Lumen West Awards.   Citiprice.com, a florida design studio, partnered with Samuel Thurston Studios for a custom commerce integration and content management system. 

Citiprice turned to Samuel Thurston studios for a customer-spec backend for this site, to meet the needs of a design-minded client. Orders for the site are processed through a major credit gateway, notifications are sent to all parties involved, and a protected adminitration interface allows management of order tickets.

 

Since the award show tickets, golf tournament sponships, and education registrations aren't traditional products,  the site required a unique approach to e-commerce management.  Applications for a Scholarship program can also be filed, with attached resumes and cover letters, using the same user-friendly interface.
